Rhyl Marine Lake

Sailing, canoeing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding and for those of you that are daring enough.

Sailing, canoeing and water-skiing are just some of the activities you can take part in at our award winning Marine Lake, the only salt water lake in North Wales. 12 hectares in size, Marine Lake is a man-made reservoir next to the mouth of the River Clwyd across from Rhyl Harbour.

For those who don’t like to get wet, have a walk round the Lake taking in our new Environmental Trail, spot some of the wildlife, or have a ride on the Miniature Railway, the oldest in the UK and operated by Rhyl Steam Preservation Trust. The grounds of Marine Lake are open all year, so you can take a leisurely walk round at any time, or if your bringing the kids, there are two outdoor play areas, one for the younger ones and one for those a bit older. Parking is available on site.

Summer Permit (April to October)
£75 for the first vessel
£10 for each additional vessel

Winter Permit (November to January)
£30 for the first vessel, £10 for each additional vessel

Annual Permit
£90 for the first vessel
£15 for each additional vessel
